This was my 1st time joining an activity from Montreal Photography Group and I really enjoyed it. Edwin took the time to properly explain everything. As a full newbie, I really appreciate that he went back to the very basics and even took some minutes to properly show me how my camera works or how I can find certain settings. It was a great class and I?m looking forward to join more activities in the future.

Captured with my iPhone 13 and refined through Lightroom and Silver Efex Pro, this image titled Humaniti, Montr?al reflects my ongoing fascination with geometry, light, and vertical poetry. As a fine art photographer deeply engaged with urban storytelling, I seek to reveal the silent tensions between structure and sky ? where glass and brick stretch upward like questions without answers.

Sanctuary at Blue Hour"From the quiet of my balcony, just as the blue hour set in, I captured this moment of peace?St. Joseph's Oratory rising above the city like a sentinel of faith. The last light of day melted into the rich indigo sky, while the golden glow from the basilica?s windows shimmered like lanterns of hope.Below, the city hushed. The rhythm of life slowed, and even the clouds seemed to pause above the great dome, where the cross illuminated the evening like a celestial beaco

Chongqing, China, 2025Photographer: Marcel MorinThis panoramic black-and-white photograph captures the dazzling skyline of Chongqing from the banks of the Yangtze River, taken just after sunset from the Raffles City pier. The city?s illuminated towers reflect the sheer scale and ambition of modern China, rising like sentinels of light against the night sky.I was traveling light and didn?t have a tripod, so I shot handheld in full manual mode. I had spent the better part of the day moving silently through the edges of the chase looking to photograph deer. It was one of those days that seemed perfect on paper: overcast skies that softened the light, barely a breath of wind, and a camera battery at full charge. But nature is nothing if not humbling. The deer remained ghost-like, unseen despite hours of quiet patience and soft steps.By late afternoon my hopes had dimmed so I began the slow walk back to the car. The path wound through

The photo was taken on the shore of Lake Ontario at Woodbine Beach Park. Whenever you take a photo of a sunrise or sunset, it is difficult to predict how nature will show you. Sometimes expectations are not met, but sometimes you receive a modest but magnificent gift. There was a small puddle on the shore of the lake from a recent rain and it was in it that the miracle of the sunrise appeared. Shot on a Samsung 21s mobile phone and processed in the phone in the Snapseed program.
